Event Details

Epic Thanks/Tweetsgiving is a celebration of all that we are grateful for, and a celebration of the changemakers that make our world a more grateful place to live in.

Hosted by Epic Change, cities across the world are celebrating local changemakers this November.

In Chicago, we are honored to be celebrating the work of local midwest changemaker Nate St. Pierre, founder of It Starts With Us and it's projects: Love Bomb and Love Drop.

So what does that mean?

Over the next week, we're raising money to support It Starts With Us and their new project, Love Drop. We're collecting your messages of gratitude and putting them into a heartfelt and handmade book: one for Nate and for Lauren - a sort of physical Love Bomb to thank them for the love they've showered on so many people.

I think Nate, Lauren and It Starts With Us is cool...but I don't want to donate. What can I do?

You can still tell them: choose the free ticket, enter your message of gratitude and it will be included in Nate or Lauren's handmade Love Bomb book.

This says #EpicThanks Chicago. Is there some sort of event to go to?

No. Our fundraiser is an online one to reflect what It Starts With Us is all about: anyone, anywhere can be a changemaker.

I'm confused. Is my donation going to It Starts With Us or Epic Change?

Donations made through #EpicThanks Chicago go directly to It Starts With Us.

Wait...I want to support Epic Change too. They seem like an awesome organization!

Show your gratitude to Epic Change for giving us an opportunity to honor It Starts With Us!

On November 23rd at 12pm EST, tweet what you're grateful for and include the hashtag #EpicThanks with a link back to epicthanks.org

This is a lot to read and my eyes hurt - got a video I can watch instead?
